2. Disconnect the disk and find its container-file. Ensure please, if this file is not read-only.
3. When you connect the disk, click Options and check, if read-only option is not checked.

Really, if on target computer is not installed Rohos Disk or Rohos Mini application, when you launch rohos mini.exe from USB drive, it opens the disk in Rohos Portable. It can work without administrative rights. If you have administrative rights on target computer, install Rohos Mini application there from our site and the disk will be opened as ordinary disk in file explorer.

If someone changes the windows password, you will be not able to use your USB key, if it contains the password. You will need to use boot disk as well, to login your account and restore your password. To protect your personal data, use Rohos Disk or Rohos Mini application. It will be very difficult to decrypt the decrypted disk, if you use strong password there.

If your phone belongs to your internal network, you need to configure the network firewall not to lock port 1205 from broadcast messages.
If your smartphone belongs to external network, this technology will not work.

Now your USB drive is formatted in FAT32, and in this file system it is impossible to create a file more than 4GB.
So, first you need to format it in NTFS. After this launch Rohos application, Encrypt USB drive command, Change, specify desired size.

Now it is impossible to use MAC computer as a client in remote connection with hardware key. Only Google authenticator may be used in this case.

Download and start install current version of Rohos Mini on Windows XP. During the installation, you will see the link to download previous version of Rohos Mini for Windows XP.

Now it is not possible to close the session with Wi-Fi phone. The phone does not sends the information permanently in network. In future we'll add a commnd in application for phone to lock the computer.

We could not reproduce the situation. On our test server it doesn't allow to insert the code manually or by pasting. Inform me please, what version of Windows is installed on terminal server. Are there any particularities of configuration?

to disallow manual entering of the password, you must open Rohos Options and select another value from third list.

we are sorry for inconvenience. On our test computers Rohos Face logon is working with Windpws 10. Try to log in in safe mode and uninstall Rohos Face lgon.

In case, you use Rohos Disk or Rohos Mini, you must cut them and paste in non-encrypted place.
In case, you use Rohos Portable, you must select them and export to Desktop.

Do you mean to protect Rohos Logon app on the phone by the fingerprint authentication ?
- Or maybe you want to unlock PC by fingerprint authentication (unlock phone, open Rohos Logon and slide you finger to unlock PC?)

We assume that phone is allready protected by fingerprint authentication and adding additional fingerprint authentication will make "PC-unlock" experience more complex (but not more secure).

Because you are working with AD server (domain controller), not all the types of users are allowed to login here. The user must be member of domain administrators group or Administrators group.
About login with/without username: Usually, if OTP is assigned for a user, he can write only his OTP into its field. If a user needs to change his password on next logon, he needs to write his username and password too.
OTP code can be used only once. If you wrote wrong OTP code, you must wait until it changes and write new one. It you wrote correct one, but by different reasons you did not logged in, you must wait before it changes too.

1. Smartphone must be in the same network with computer. No router is allowed between them.
2. By default Windows will prompt you to allow Rohos Logon Key incoming network connections. But Rohos also adds Winlogon process to the List of allowed programs. Just in case Rohos doesn’t unlock PC by phone signal you can check Firewall rule :
– Open: Control Panel/System and Security/Windows Firewall/Allowed Programs/Change settings/Allow another program/Browse/LogonUI.exe

And ensure Winlogon process has all checkboxes

By default Rohos Logon key maintains a list of authentication keys (by serial number) that is allowed for login into this PC - to review this list Open "User and Keys" dialog box.

To ensure that Rohos applied this policy , open Rohos Logon > Options > More > verify key serial number (is checked).

By default regular user accounts cannot create a key by Rohos Logon on the current PC because Rohos settings are protected by Windows and only Admins can change it.

The option "verify key serial number" is not set by default after Install (and at this moment any user can create a key somewhere and use it for login into that PC). The options is auto-enabled when a first key is created on that PC.
